| 内容記述 | In this paper, motivation as a process is examined from the viewpoint of language learning. The paradigm shift from a L2 community-specific orientation to concepts applicable to motivation in learning English as a global languages is overviewed, followed by a detailed examination of application of L2 motivation research to classroom situations in view of Japanese university EFL settings. Capturing the three concepts of Dornyei's L2 Motivational Self System, a process of language learning for Japanese university EFL settings is proposed. |
