| 内容記述 | I am pleased to have had the report compiled of the joint work shop of Ritsumeikan University and Kanagawa University during August 26 and 27 of last 2006 at the Queens Tower A, Minatomirai, Yokohama. The theme "Historical Disasters and Cities" seemed to have appealed many people here in Yokohama where the Great Kanto Quake occurred more than eighty years ago. Moreover, we were able to learn how Kyoto has built up its cultural tradition with many efforts through this joint work shop. I hope the common theme of COE programs between the two universities will enhance the deeper involvement and the further research development. |
