| 内容記述 | Four kinds of volleyballs of four different makers are used as official balls in authorized domestic matches in Japan. In order to see how easily the spinning direction of the ball was recognized, the image of the spinning ball was presented on the monitor of a computer, and the rection time was measured for 36 volleyball players and non-players in Kanagawa University. The reaction time was generally decreased as the spinning rate was increased for all the makers, although longer time was needed for the balls of the makers A and D than B and C. % of collection was also lower for the makers A and D than B and C. Some visual factors, including the color, the pattern of colors or the logo mark of the ball, were taken to explain of the results. | |||||
