| 内容記述 | 明の中後期、書籍・出版文化の勃興に伴い、基層の物語芸能が、挿画付きの通俗文学として大量に書籍化された。一方、基層文化から距離のあるはずの明代内府でも、彩絵『出像楊文広征蛮伝』、彩絵『大宋中興通俗演義』、彩絵『全像金字西遊記』（『唐玄奘法師西天取経全図』）といった彩色手鈔絵図を持つ通俗文学作品群が制作・受容されていた。これらの作品は、坊刻本をもとに制作されたと推定されるものである。他方、明代内府では、通俗文学作品以外にも、類似の彩色手鈔絵本形式を持つ勧戒書、教科書などが制作・受容されていた。こうした周辺の彩絵手鈔絵本群 も、その多くが挿画を伴う坊刻本・官刻本などにもとづき制作されていた。 本稿では上記の事柄をふまえ、特に彩絵『全像金字西遊記』を中軸としながら、その周囲に広がる絵図文化を分析することにより、明代中後期の通俗文学が絵図と積極的に関わりながら、いかに制作、受容され普及していったのか、その一端を探ることを試みる。 |

| 内容記述 | With the rise of books and culture related to publications in the middle and late Ming Dynasty, numerous oral narratives were published with illustrations as popular literary works. At the same time, even in the Ming Court that was supposedly separated from fundamental culture, colored hand-illustrated books such as the illustrated book 出像楊文広征蛮伝（Illustrated Story of Yang Wenguang）, the illustrated book 大宋中興通俗演義（Romance of the Restoration of the Great Song Dynasty）, and the illustrated book 全像金字西遊記（Journey to the West with Gold Lettering） were created and accepted. These works are thought to have been made based on books published by commercial publishers. Other than works of popular literature, the Ming Court also created and accepted textbooks and books promoting good morals that were similarly colored hand-illustrated books. Many of these books were also created based on official or commercial publications, which incorporated many illustrations. Considering the matters above, this paper will attempt to explore how popular literature from the middle and late Ming Dynasty was accepted and popularized while actively incorporating illustrations by analyzing the creation and acceptance of the illustrated book 全像金字西遊記 （Journey to the West with Gold Lettering） and the culture of illustrations surrounding this book. |
