| 内容記述 | In this paper, I investigate the Fyuzan-kai （the Fusain Society）, which, despite having been active for only two years, left a significant mark on the history of modern Japanese art. Although the reputation of the Fyuzan-kai in the history of modern Japanese art has already been established, there is still much that remains unclear as to how it was specifically valued during the active period between 1912 and 1913. In Chapter 1, I summarised the evaluation of the history of the Fyuzan-kai and presented my awareness of the issues in this thesis. Chapter 2 focuses on the first the Fyuzan-kai exhibition and Chapter 3 on the second the Fyuzan-kai exhibition respectively. The reviews of the exhibition and the works of art at the time were then studied and analysed. Finally, in Chapter 4, I looked at the position of the viewers in the exhibition, while giving an overall consideration to the previous discussions. |
