| 内容記述 | 本研究は高齢者の急増が見込まれる大都市において高齢期における自助と互助に対する市民の態度の特徴と課題を明らかにするため，神奈川新聞・神奈川大学・横浜市が 2015年に横浜市民 2000人を対象に行った共同世論調査の結果をもとに，健康維持増進及び社会参加活動に対する態度の性差及び年齢差について分析した。この結果，（1）健康維持増進の必要性の認識と実践とのギャップは若年層ほど大きい，（2）健康維持増進のための心理的な側面の必要性の認識や実践は女性においてより高い，（3）高齢期における社会参加活動のために特に行っていない人は若年層で多い，（4）高齢期の社会参加活動として，男性は女性よりも「スポーツ・レクレーション活動」を，女性は男性よりも「サークル活動」や「習い事」を，若年層ほど「習い事」を回答した人が多い，などの特徴や課題が明らかになった。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This study examines peopleʼs attitudes toward self-help and mutual aid in their old age in an urban city where a rapid increase in elderly population is expected. In 2015, a joint public opinion survey was conducted among 2000 Yokohama citizens by Kanagawa Newspaper, Kanagawa University and the City of Yokohama. We ana-lyzed the results of the survey in terms of gender and age to determine the differences in attitudes toward health promotion and social activities. Based on the results of the analysis, we concluded the following:（1） In the younger age group, awareness of the necessity of health promotion is high but they rarely participate in the promotion.（2）The rate of recognizing of the necessity of mental health promotion and conducting it is higher in women.（3）The number of people who do not contribute to social activities for the elderly is higher in the younger age group.（4）Men prefer “sport and recreation activities” while women prefer “club activities” and “lessons” as social activities in their old age. | |||||
