It is the result of one of the researches of the 3rd group in the Kanagawa University 21st century COE project. We think that photographs are important materials for the research of landscape change. And we also think that the analysis techniques should involve fixed-point observation and local comparative study. We looked at natural disasters, economic activity, the development of infrastructure, and urbanization, as factors in landscape change, with the following case studies. The first is the influence of a natural disaster on the landscape, taking the example of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake in 1994. The second is the influence of economic activity, looking at tourism development in Onomichi City in Hiroshima Prefecture. The third is the influence of infrastructure building on the landscape. The case studied was airport maintenance at Dogo Island in the Oki Islands of Shimane Prefecture. The fourth is the influence of urbanization on the landscape. The study looked at Ulsan and the surrounding areas in South Korea. This paper uses photographic materials extensively because photographs show reality. And, we wanted to show that photographs can be effective as research materials. From now on, we will have to devise the techniques to analyze photographs. To this end, the Shibusawa films are important materials for the research of environment change after the 1930’s. We must make the most of Mr. Shibusawa’s legacy. Then, we must show the usefulness of photographs and films as non written materials for research into the history of civilization., Article}, title = {写真資料と景観変容 -澁澤フィルムの分析に向けて-}, year = {2004} }
