The old calendar that the dynasty used as a dating system―the notion of days of fortune and misfortune in particular―symbolizes cosmological sovereignty. The interpretations of those days differ between the two types of calendars. Moreover, along with cosmology itself, the concept and image of cosmological sovereignty spread to Taiwan through the circulation of the folk calendar imported from Fujian and Guangdong and interpreters of the days of fortune and misfortune. The new calendar signifying modern civilization was introduced at the end of the Qing Dynasty and brought into Taiwan by Christian missionaries. Under Japanese rule, the Japanese calendar that incorporated a date system based on the period of the reign of the emperor and Japanese cultural enlightenment was adopted and promoted by a sect of Shinto called Jingu-kyo. It was an official calendar proposed by the Meiji government, but the Taiwan Governor-Generalʼs Office was not willing to circulate it. Instead, the office adopted the Taiwanese folk calendar that combined the Japanese and Chinese chronological systems in 1913. It was introduced to the public in a top-down manner through the government administration system and came to be commonly used at a local government level and downward. After World War II, an agricultural calendar similar to the Taiwanese calendar was launched in the wake of the promotion of Chinese culture under the Nationalist government. The number of days of fortune and misfortune in this calendar gradually increased and started to be widely used in Taiwanese households during the period of high economic growth in the 1960s and 1970s. This paper will examine changes in the days of fortune and misfortune in these calendars, the circulation of each calendar system, and people involved in the process. In doing so, the rise and fall of the concept of cosmological sovereignty, such as how it was reconstructed and preserved under Japanese rule and the Nationalist regime, will also be discussed, thereby revealing aspects of Taiwanʼs modernization.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_3_description_40":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"Departmental Bulletin Paper","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_3_description_5":{"attribute_name":"内容記述","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"2015年度奨励研究 成果論文","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_3_publisher_33":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"神奈川大学日本常民文化研究所 非文字資料研究センター"}]},"item_3_source_id_10":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AA12776889","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_3_source_id_8":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"2432-5481","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_3_version_type_16":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"游, 舒婷"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Yu, Shuting"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2018-11-20"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"14-22.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"2.9 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"14-22.pdf","url":"https://kanagawa-u.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/8302/files/14-22.pdf"},"version_id":"831dae22-d35d-4bdc-a695-e3c59d119a3d"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"官暦と民間暦を通してみる伝統と近代の交錯 -日本統治時代の「台湾民暦」と国民党統治時代の「農民暦」を中心に-","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"官暦と民間暦を通してみる伝統と近代の交錯 -日本統治時代の「台湾民暦」と国民党統治時代の「農民暦」を中心に-","subitem_title_language":"ja"}]},"item_type_id":"3","owner":"10","path":["678"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2019-04-18"},"publish_date":"2019-04-18","publish_status":"0","recid":"8302","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["官暦と民間暦を通してみる伝統と近代の交錯 -日本統治時代の「台湾民暦」と国民党統治時代の「農民暦」を中心に-"],"weko_creator_id":"10","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-06-20T06:13:57.465986+00:00"}
