We specifically focused on the characteristics of word formation based on the number of syllables and usage of Chinese verbs in Korean. Based on the results of this survey, we surmise that Koreans use and comprehend\naround 1,600 different Chinese verbs in their daily life.　In this vocabulary survey, there were not many types of one-syllable Chinese verbs, but their total number of words showed high frequency. Especially only top 3 one-syllable Chinese verbs(對-hada, 爲-hada, 通-hada) showed about 70% usage of all one-syllable Chinese verbs. Two-syllable Chinese verbs were close to 80% in total Chinese verbs number. Three-syllable Chinese verbs derived from the formation of a prefix or suffix were very productive, but many of them were not in the dictionary. Four-syllable Chinese verbs were used in about 100 words found in editorials of newspaper in one year. We could find just one five-syllable Chinese verb.
