Based on the theme of Nageire-do in Tottori Prefecture, which is associated with the legend of Enno-gyoja, teaching materials were created using LoiLo Note, and taught in classes using tablets. As a result, the initial leaning objectives (to learn about ancient architectural styles and construction methods ; to think about the reason why Nageire-do is located in a place where it is impossible to construct a building ; to know the relationship between ancient religious views and buildings, which is a prerequisite for reading the classics ; and to cultivate interest in cultures situated outside the metropolitan area) were achieved. Opinions from the research discussions revealed findings that could lead to future issues and new developments in terms of the effects of information and communications technology (ICT) devices, unique initiatives in private schools, and interest in local history and culture.
