This paper summarizes the current status of agriculture in Yokohama City using statistical data on business entities engaged in agriculture. In Yokohama City, which supplies agricultural products to urban areas, a large proportion of agricultural output is vegetables, fruit trees, and flowers, and agricultural products are sold not only to JA but also to a variety of other sources, including food manufacturing and food service industries and direct sales to consumers. However, most of the agricultural management entity are individuals, and only a small number operate as a corporation, and the scale of their operations is small and the amount of money they receive from sales of agricultural products is small. Organic farming and agricultural production-related businesses are being developed in many areas, although they are few in number.
