In this study, we examined the effectiveness of public awareness activities by conducting a secondary analysis of data from the implementation records of 160 activities conducted throughout Japan and the results of questionnaires answered by 8209 participants. The results of the analysis of variance showed that all the basic factors of communication( i.e., sender, message, channel, and receiver) were statistically significantly related to the number of items of behavioral intention, which is a factor in the effectiveness of public awareness activities. In addition, the results of Hayashiʼs quantification method-II revealed that the level of practice of environmental behavior and the age of the different participants, which are the recipient factors, had a significant impact on the effectiveness of public awareness activities. In addition, it was found that the effectiveness of educational activities was greater among those in their 30s and 40s, who were less likely to practice environmental behaviors. In the future, it will be necessary to empirically verify the effectiveness of such activities through intervention studies using randomized controlled experiments. It is also necessary to conduct further research on the extent to which behavioral intentions are linked to actual behavior and how long such behavior is sustained.}, pages = {35--57}, title = {気候変動緩和に向けた一般市民向けの普及啓発活動による効果とその関連要因}, year = {2022}, yomi = {マツモト, ヤスオ} }
