With Product Portfolio Management analysis, each analyzed team was categorized and displayed in a table of 4 quadrant areas, the X axis represents possession rate, and the Y axis represents efficiency of goals. This research revealed that demoted clubs tend to position in the 4th quadrant area, “Dangerous Zone”, less than 50% of the possession rate and less than the average of the efficiency rate and, promoted clubs tend to position in the 1st quadrant area, “Window for Success”, more than 50% of the possession rate, and more than the average of the efficiency of goals.
