 note = {There are numerous exhibitions in Mainland China that celebrate the fruits of several centuries of Chinese studies abroad. These cover the historical changes of study abroad over that period, and are rooted in the globalization of education. They are symbols of the successive accumulation of history, cultural and academic progress, as well as the symbolism of private exchange, and are based on the history and ideals of the development of Chinese study abroad projects. These exhibitions are future oriented and have important significance in promoting overseas exchange, while continuing the spirit of study abroad by Chinese scholars. By fully investigating the 30-year history of these exhibits, the centuries of accomplishments in Chinese overseas studies become apparent.
