Fear and anxiety about infection seriously affect human relations, and damage many people?s minds and souls, as well as society. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, not only adults but also children are affected, and even very young children come under great stress and uneasiness. Good health books to develop health literacy in young children can foster both their cognitive and non-cognitive skills. Cognitive skills provide correct scientific knowledge and could prevent children from experiencing unnecessary and excessive fear, anxiety, prejudice, delusion, and false rumors. Non-cognitive skills foster compassion in children and help society stay healthy and avoid past mistakes such as discrimination, prejudice, and judgment concerning infection.
