It was to get suggestions from the change of ʻconfidence about danceʼ during the dance class from be-fore taking classes. Method: (1)The subjects were 30 second-year university students. (2)We planned the “teaching-learning process” of dance classes incorporating ʻActive learningʼ. (3)Conducted the questionnaire survey(10 levels)in terms of the changes in the confidence in “dancing, ability of creative dance, ability of dance teaching” which is important for giving a dance lesson. In addition, we also reviewed from free description. Result: 1)The “confidence in dance” at before the first class and at the middle of the course have shown significant improvement as; dance from 3.8 to 5.4(p<0.001), create from 3.2 to 4.8(p<0.001), lead from 2.6 to 4.3(p<0.001). 2)As a result of investigating on “Did you gain confidence in dance through the classes ?” 16 students an-swered “Yes, significantly”, 11 students answered “Yes, moderately”, and 3 answered “Yes, slightly”. From the free description, we have understood that the learning in “pair-learning” was effective, and the motivation im-provement and acquisition of skills and knowledge of the students had been led by W-up which is related to the learning contents and the contents of group learning.
