In particular, I focused on International Congress for the Defense of Culture and International Institute of Intellectual Cooperation in light of the global trend at the time.  In Chapter 1, I examined the discourse on international cultural projects in 1935 along with the above awareness of the problem.  In Chapter 2, I focused on International Congress for the Defense of Culture, and investigated and analyzed contemporary discourses on the introduction in Japan and how to accept it. In the next three chapters, I focused on International Institute of Intellectual Cooperation, and investigated and analyzed contemporary discourses on the introduction in Japan and how it was accepted.  In Chapter 4, I summarized the above discussion and presented a conclusion.
