          <dc:description>This study was intended to examine the relationship between body physique and physical fitness of Thai students in Udon-Thani prefecture. The examinees were students from twelve- to seventeen-years-old of the school where the investigation took place (n = 623 girls and 696 boys). The research was carried out with regard to height, weight, sit-ups, trunk-flexion, side-steps, 50m-run, long-jump and grip-strength. The results of this study were as follows: 1) With regard to girls, for both age 12-14years and 15-17years, there were significant positive correlation between height and grip-strength (12-14yr: r=0.455, p&lt;0.01, 15-17yr: r=0.319, p&lt;0.01), weight and grip-strength (12-14yr: r=0.496, p&lt;0.01, 15-17yr: r=0.440, p&lt;0.01).  2) For boys, age 12-14years, there were significant positive correlation between height and trunk-flexion (r = 0.431, p&lt;0.01), 50m-run (r = 0.352, p&lt;0.01), long-jump (r = 0.443, p&lt;0.01), grip-strength (r = 0.688, p&lt;0.01), and more there were significant positive correlation between weight and trunk-flexion (r = 0.361, p&lt;0.01), gripstrength (r = 0.684, p&lt;0.01). From 15- to 17-years-old, there were significant positive correlation between weight and grip-strength (r = 0.511, p&lt;0.01).</dc:description>
