| 内容記述 | Particles "le_1" and "le_2" belong to a category of aspect in time system of Mandarin Chinese. They connect category of phase and category of tense in the temporal system. This paper argues the differences of their semantic function by set theory. It concludes that "1e_2" makes proposition preceding it to be a subset in a universe of discourse. In order to compare briefly the semantic difference between "le_1" and "le_2", this paper only discusses two forms : "activity verbs+'le_1'+quantified objects" (I) and "activity verbs+'le_1'+quantified objects+'le_2"' (II). First, I pointed out that a phase structure has four "quantificational properties" and three "quantificational levels". Second, I propose a model that "le_2" makes proposition preceding it to be a subset by observing the semantic feature "variability" of the quantificational objects in the forms I and II. | |||||
