We conducted an experiment to reproduce Denki-Pan, and compared stainless steel and titanium as electrode plate materials. The experiment revealed that the existing technology to cook rice with electrodes (\"Denki-Rice\") had been applied to Denki-Pan. Thus, Shozo Akutsu had put a two-purpose device into practical use. Electrodes to cook Denki-Rice are placed either parallel or at the bottom of a cooker.
